It's not about emulating someone else's style--it's all about finding your own! Having said that, I think you can find all kinds of strong influences in my work. If not for Bruce Timm, I don't think I'd have a career...

How did you get the image to look as if it were painted over textured paint? Some kind of blend mode or something like that? Trade secret perhaps? Very effective, if you hadn't said it was digital art I would've thought you'd have painted this!

Not a trade secret at all. In Artrage, you can choose your canvas--even edit it a bit. Also, you can apply different canvases to different layers. Wicked cool!
